Michael McDowell, CRA, P.App., B.A.
Michael McDowell is the Principal Appraiser at Southwest Appraisal, bringing 10 years of residential real estate appraisal experience across Southwestern Ontario.
A designated Canadian Residential Appraiser (CRA) and Professional Appraiser (P.App.), Michael is a member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC). Since beginning his appraisal career in 2016, he has developed extensive experience valuing a range of residential properties, including single-family homes, multi-unit residences, rural properties, executive homes and unique residential properties.
Michael provides independent, well-researched valuations for a variety of purposes, including mortgage financing, matrimonial and separation proceedings, estate planning and settlement, and litigation support. Combining detailed market research with extensive knowledge of Southwestern Ontario's urban and rural real estate markets, he delivers clear, defensible valuations that reflect the characteristics and market conditions influencing each property.
